Summary/Abstract: Dream has attracted the attention of mankind since the early eras. The idea of interpreting dreams, solving the mystery of the symbols and reaching the message has always occupied the human being. For this reason, the phenomenon of dream has been an important place in folklore products created by humans since ancient times. Dream; psychology, religion, philosophy and history’s has been the subject to the examination area. The dreams that are outside the individual subconcious product and which have the universal character expressed by the science of psyhology as collective subconscious have excited humanity more. Although dreams are closely related to the cultural environment in which they are formed some symbols, archetypes as Jung says, have a universal identity. These universal archetypes have been found in folklore products in the form of common motifs. Dream is a universal motif in folklore products. Recently, in folklore, the dream has been a frequent phenomenon. The dream was seen as a means of communication between people and gods, with the help of prophecies in dreams, people became aware of divine messages and interpreted these messages and forwarded them to the necessary places. The dream phenomenon, which is included in the written and oral sources of almost every society, is also found in the holy books. The dream phenomenon is a motif widely used in mythology, epics, legends, folk tales and tales of the Turkish world. In the tales created by Uyghurs, the phenomenon of dream was encountered. In Uyghur tales, dream is seen as a means of communication and prophecy between man and the holy. People interpreted the dreams they had seen and analyzed the symbols in it to try to understand the hidden divine message, and predicted the future based on these messages. Dream; As an element found in Uyghur tales has maintained its continuity until today. Thisstudy focuses on the mythic, mystical and religious dimension of dreams rather than psychological aspects.
