Summary/Abstract: Written and oral products of a nation, which can take years to develop painfully, are among the elements that help make sense of the past and present of the society. These products, which have been able to reach modern times by enriching for centuries, have maintained their importance among the people for ages and have been reflected in daily life. Each narrative has its own differences and common points. Although these products are about to be forgotten in time, peoples have carried out studies in different periods with the aim of researching and keeping their own culture alive. In the light of these emerging studies, the new generation has created contemporary works by making use of these products. Baydılda Sarnogoev, who is the subject of the study, was also interested in the narratives of the people she grew up in from her young age, and she produced works by blending these narratives in a modern line. In the study, epic elements in the poet's poems were examined with examples and an idea was tried to be expressed about the use of epic elements in the context of modern poetry.
