Summary/Abstract: Nicolas Collaro, who served as an agent-consulaire for France in the Giresun district for many years, sent regular reports concerning all the developments which were taking place in Giresun between 1919 and 1920 to the French Consulate in Trabzon. In these reports, Collaro gives detailed information about the activities of Topal Osman Ağa and the Unionists, the internal conflicts within the Greek Community itself, the influence of Osman Ağa on the Greeks of Giresun and the activities of the Entente States in the region.
