Generational traits in the world of smartphones, algorithmization and artificial intelligence

Summary/Abstract: In recent years, significant changes in almost all areas of everyday life have occurred due to the constant acceleration of civilizational progress, mainly caused by the dynamic development of information technologies. As a result of these changes, new territories of generational relations (sub-worlds of the present-past and the present-future) and new dividing lines are being created. Contemporary people play the role of being members of their own generation differently. In the sub-world of generations, we observe more and more clearly visible modifications of the features characterizing generations' social identity and changes in the process of generational differentiation. The presented text is an attempt at a preliminary diagnosis of the changes mentioned above
