Summary/Abstract: Preceded by a brief presentation of the main normative acts aimed at internal security in the virtual environment, the present study highlights the strategic elements included in the Cyber Security Strategy of Romania 2.0 and the 2021-2026 Action Plan. The analysis is complemented by a selection of the most relevant threats and specific vulnerabilities in the current society, accentuated by the global pandemic context generated by the new coronavirus.
