Summary/Abstract: The objective of the study was to analyse and compare the life meaningfulness scale among healthy individuals with the different sport participation levels by the degree of agreement with the statements, dimensions, and the overall life meaningfulness during the COVID-19 pandemic season. 132 healthy respondents with different sport participation levels participated in the research: elite athletes (n=31), recreational athletes (n=78), and non-athletes (n=23). The standardized Life Meaningfulness Scale questionnaire was used to collect research data. The highest rates of life meaningfulness were found in the affective dimension and the lowest rates in the cognitive dimension of healthy individuals of all three samples. Elite (U=114, p=0.024) and recreational (U=340, p=0.053) athletes possessed significantly higher levels of life motivation than non-athletes. No significant differences were revealed in the overall life meaningfulness among three samples of healthy individuals according to the different sport participation levels during the COVID-19 pandemic.
