Summary/Abstract: The Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic is the most significant global challenge with unpredictable political and economic-social consequences. The growing role of China and India in the rapidly evolving international balance of power and their continuing superpower rivalry calls for an analysis of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the policies of both countries and the current dynamics of bilateral interactions. The challenges faced by the world's two most populous countries are multidimensional. This analysis will outline selected issues and prospects for the near future.
