The potential of the cultural heritage of Spycimierz for the development of tourism

Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present the cultural potential of Spycimierz and to indicate the possibilities of using it for the development of tourism. Taking into account the resources of the village related to the natural and historical heritage, preserved and cultivated traditions and the involvement of the community of residents, the authors make an attempt to create a tourist product „Spycimierz ‒ a flower village”, complementing and making the current offer of Uniejów and the surrounding area more attractive. The preparation of a tourist product, which is part of this offer, should not only bring the local community certain economic benefits, but also integrate the community additionally, also around activities other than just joint preparation of religious celebrations.
