Summary/Abstract: My goal is to analyze what is the best response we can offer to three challenges – path dependence, the violence of power and the presence of competing theories – that manifest in each of the three essential areas of a community's life: morals, politics, judiciary. I also talk about how we can coordinate our choices in the three areas between them, and I look at the aggregation of our choices at the community level. I point out that respect for human rights is the criterion on which the degree of success of our choices can be assessed at each of the stages mentioned.
