Summary/Abstract: The Book of Dede Qorqut is one of the most important works of Turkish writing language in terms of historical periods. Many studies have been carried out and important information has been obtained in terms of linguistic features on Dresden and Vatican manuscripts in Old Anatolian Turkish. In this study, it is aimed to find the similarity ratio between the two texts using computational methods. For the purpose of the study, the similarity rates obtained between the newly found manuscript based on the dresden copy were calculated as 39% for cosine, 28% for TF-IDF and 65%, 44%, 3% and 1% for Jaccard. According to these ratios, it was observed that the formal similarity between the two copies was low. In the light of these findings, it can be said that the recently founded manuscript has different vocabulary characteristics than the Dresden manuscript.
