Spatial-functional structure of Szadek

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the location of areas fulfilling various functions in Szadek space. The analysis shows that the land use structure in Szadek is diversified. In various parts of the area under study the intensity of the different functions varies, which has resulted in the formation in Szadek of several functional zones. The most developed functionally areas are situated at the southern boundary of the town, their number decreasing with the distance from the central square (market). Because of the land use structure in localities bordering with Szadek from the south, they form an integral part of this town.
