LITERATUR DIGITAL ERFORSCHEN
On the Digital Research of Literature

Summary/Abstract: The research potential of the methods employed by the Digital Humanities (DH) and their innovative approaches and tools for online text corpora has been increasingly recognized in different fields of philology. Thus, access to large text corpora, as well as the statistical and data modelling methods in literary research offer new exploration opportunities for Romanian philology as well. In the age of globalization and digitization, many studies follow the current trend of employing digital methods in literary studies; therefore, this article outlines perspectives of digitally-oriented philology based on the interconnection between the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
