The Czech ‘Last Address’ Commemorates the Victims of Political Repressions in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The Last Address was established in 2014 in Russia as a spontaneous initiative aiming to commemorate the names of the victims of the Soviet Regime. It has been active in the Czech Republic, too, since 2017. Here, the ‘Last Address’ initiative installs memorial plaques in a unified design to commemorate both the victims of the Czechoslovak communist regime as well as the Czechs who died in the Soviet Union as a result of political repression.
