Summary/Abstract: The author depicts the role of A. A. Zdanov in the acceptance and realization of the decision of AUCP(b) about the journals «Zvezda» and «Leningrad», which was accepted on the 14th of August in 1946 in non traditional way. He believes Zdanovs role to be important, but the minor in comparison to the role of Stalin.
