Implementation of ethical education? Problems and perspectives

Summary/Abstract: Ethical education in Slovakia is still an underappreciated field with a number of problems and questions arising from the laic and scientific community. The aim of the theoretical study was to bring the problems of implementation of ethical education closer, categorised and to formulate questions for the perspective of further research into the effectiveness of ethical education teaching. The study represents an initial mapping of the problems that need to be clarified before moving on to the investigation itself. The paper describes the current anchoring of the subject in the educational system of the Slovak Republic, theoretically discusses factors influencing the effectiveness of the implementation of programs, highlights specific problems in the field of implementation of ethical education and asks questions for further research in relation to the problem. We tried to answer two research questions: What are the problems of implementing ethical education in Slovakia and how can they be categorised? What are the questions for further examination of the categories of problems?
