Summary/Abstract: The article contains information on some derivatives of the dihydropyrimidine series that have shown pharmacological activity. Pyrimidines are well known for their wide range of biological activity and play an important role in human life. The area of application of dihydropyrimidines has been expanded due to the synthesis of some derivatives of this series, known by their trivial names - monastrol, oxomonastrol, which have shown a completely new mechanism of biological activity.
