Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issues related to the search and economic justification of solutions to reduce the response time and modify the areas of responsibility of rescue units in the Republic of Moldova. A model for minimizing the distance of emergency response routes of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations is proposed. The proposed conceptual approach to reducing the route to an accident does not require additional financial costs, allows to increase the number of settlements in which timely emergency assistance will be provided, and provides savings in operating costs.
