Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the main factors affecting the effectiveness of personnel management in the modern digital economy. The emphasis is placed on the personnel training system as a system-forming factor that ensures the orientation of educational institutions to the needs of society. The role and place of the ethno-demographic features of the region in the economy of the region are determined. The expediency of revising the functions of personnel management in the structure of the enterprise and the need for self-determination of personnel service employees in new conditions is noted.
