Summary/Abstract: The article discusses research findings about challenges and possibilities of parenting during COVID-19 time in Lithuania. Quantitative survey was done in five EU countries: Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Turkey in spring of 2020. The analysis of national findings revealed that respondents were quite prepared for the emergency and there were not dramatic changes in families’ life. However, new reality brought new challenges mostly in reconciliation of work and family, ensuring distance learning of the children. Data showed that Lithuanian parents use moderate means of disciplining their children. Due to changed situation families need additional support, especially in finding new coping strategies in reconciliation work and family and ensuring children’s distance learning.
