Summary/Abstract: The subject in field of public information policies in the context of the unresolved conflict in the Republic of Moldova is important not only locally, regionally, as well as for the entire Moldovan information space, perhaps even regionally, for example, in the context of conflicts in Ukraine. The importance of this topic is greater as the spectrum of hybrid challenges in the 21st century has increased significantly, and the mass media is becoming a valuable topic in these confrontations. Thus, in the light of those described, the article highlights the de facto situation in the Transnistrian region on the mass media component, the vulnerabilities present in this regard for the rest of the Republic of Moldova and the legal perspectives for intervention in the field. The article can be useful in developing sectoral public policies, improving the legal framework for expanding a single informational space, as well as those interested in the Transnistrian subject.
