Summary/Abstract: Judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Case C-673/16, Relu Adrian Coman and others. the General Inspectorate for Immigration and the Ministry of Internal Affairs has led me to write this article by which I try to answer the following questions; 1. What do we mean by the "recognition (respecting) of rights earned in a foreign country"? 2. What are the general effects of same-sex marriage on the territory of Romania as a result of the recognition in Romania of a marriage concluded between two same-sex persons abroad? 3. What effects could the recognition of same-sex marriage on the territory of Romania?
