Summary/Abstract: Throughout this epistemological research as a guiding thread may be considered the examination of a remarkable Kant’s heuristic hypothesis which are not explictily defended by him but which apparently performs a crucial role in he’s transcendental theory of knowledge. The thinker had introduced in an early writings he’s intention towards revealing „the mysterious power“ which makes the judgments possible and found the reason and the understanding. The paper aims to represent the possibility to make a link between this indistinct intuition and Kant’s late suggestion about the existing and evolutionary interpreted eccentric correlation between reason and imagination as a cognitive faculties. For the sake of this purpose, the research must cope with interpretation of one vital appendix to the Critique of Pure Reason by means of revealing of the heuristic usage of the reason and the disciplinary critical function of the rational psychology. Used by Kant heuristic of interpretational schemes which are fixed in the philosophical tradition and which are applied to analysis of the correlation between productive and reproductive faculties of the imagination. Thus the research suggests possible ways of reviewing the character, the functions and the structure of the transcendental faculty of the imagination with a veiw to the importance of its fundamental pure synthesis and the accent upon its reproductive modus.
