Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of a logopedic diagnosis of young children’s speech (up to 3 years old). It was important for the researcher to find the answer to the question what influence modern technology has on the development of speech in young children. The original diagnostic questionnaire prepared by the author of the article has been expanded to include questions referring to modern technologies. The comparative study of young children with delayed speech development and the children who speak correctly, as well as interviews with their parents enabled the author to state whether and to what extent watching TV or videos on mobile phones and playing games on tablets can disturb verbal development of a child.
