Summary/Abstract: Ear training is the foundation of the musical development of every pupil or student interested in the knowledge of music, particularly of those who study on specialist music schools. The inclusion of the music education platform Musicators, both online and onsite, optimizes the exercises based on aural applications, while answering the teachers’ needs to identify varied methods to approach education. Our research presents possible applications of the music education software Musicators, which has been used in music theory classes in a synchronous, as well as an asynchronous manner, both face to face and online, for children aged 7 to 10. As a consequence of its employment, we concluded that the students were receptive to adapting to the proposed technological solutions, being able to highlight an increased interest in the use of specific ear training exercises. The efficiency of the software was measured by means of a progress test, and we noticed a significant increase in the level of individual practice, of information, and ear training.
