Summary/Abstract: This article presents the digital program Solfy (https://www.4solfy.com/), based on AI (artificial intelligence), along with several points of view on the use of technology in music education (in the classroom, online, and hybrid), during the restrictions imposed by COVID-19. Solfy is designed as a study and (self-) practice support for promoting singing and strengthening the literacy process, helping teachers, on the one hand, in the teaching process and coordination, and students, on the other hand, in guided practice of Solfege and reviewing the results obtained. The program includes technological innovations in the field of voice synthesis and analysis as well as machine learning, along with new methods of learning the musical language (among others proposed in the past by Dalcroze, Orff and Kodally). Solfy “sings” solfeges from digital scores, records and evaluates the performance of its users, provides feedback and keeps track of activity statistics. Learning solfege is (almost) equivalent to learning a new language: in our case, the (intimate) language of (Western) music.
