NATURE'S GIFT TO HUMANITY FROM TREE TO WOOD: CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CASE

Summary/Abstract: Wood is a material raw material with numerous advantages that nature offers to humanity. As a material that has been used to meet the needs of the first human being, wood is gaining new features with the opportunities provided by technology today. Wood obtained from wood is one of the two materials that people first accessed on earth, the other is stone. People using the trees around them as materials, on the other hand, created structures by observing and examining them. They warmed by burning wood chips and improved cooking. In this study, the general characteristics of wood material, which has an important place on the path of civilization, as well as its use in the construction sector, architecture and interior architecture will be discussed, and it will be emphasized that protecting nature and trees will enable sustainability and gifting with nature in the future. It is important to realize the value of nature before we end it without ruthlessly consuming it.
