Summary/Abstract: Among the young vestemen, between 1753 and 1893, some of them chose a military career. Although, at that time, the evolution of officers of non-Austrian or pro-Austrian nationalities was difficult, some of those who became officers in the Habsburg and Austro-Hungarian armies managed to hold important positions, some uniquely. Their evolution was different, but some of them ended up holding the rank of major. All, without exception, honored the locality from which they came.
