NARATIVIZATION AND THEMATIZATION OF THE CITY IN THE NOVEL HISTORY OF DISEASE BY TVRTKO KULENOVIĆ

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we want to point out the narrative procedure in the novel History of the Disease of Tvrtko Kulenović and how the city is thematized at the time of the siege and destruction. In the literary criticism of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this novel was very much written about, especially about the narrative process. In fact, the narrative of the novel itself is compatible with the image of the city, which is being destroyed all the time. The specificity of this novel is that it was written during the siege of Sarajevo and was published in that period.
