Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to show the meaning of God’s name men-tioned in the second commandment of the Decalogue. It is about God revealing Himself in both the Old and New Testaments. The Author explains whether there is respect for God’s name. In addition, he points to such attitudes that are a failure to respect the second commandment, that is, sins against God’s name.
