Perception of social change of the people from two villages in Transilvania

Summary/Abstract: This article is focusing on the attitude toward social change of the people from two villages in Transilvania. Using quantitative and qualitative data, collected in a research campaign conducted in 2003 in the two villages, the article attempts to draw a comparative profile of those who fear change and are rejecting it, and of those who like change and are embracing it.
