Summary/Abstract: This article presents the author's vision for the implementation and maintenance of an effective privacy program in organizations, as a modern and effective response to the challenges of information security and personal data protection of citizens. The main stages and components of the privacy program are discussed. The approach for proper planning and implementation is described, which should lead to risk reduction and increase public confidence.
