Summary/Abstract: Contemporary society is mainly defined by the nation and that is why the nation state is to provide security, freedom and good living conditions for the individuals. On the other hand, the objective process of globalization has its advantages and disadvantages and they have an impact on the different dimensions of the security of the individual.
