Summary/Abstract: This research tries to find the spiritual and aesthetic proximity between N. Rainov and N. Roerich, whose works – verbal and visual, have turned into decorative stylized ones, incorporating the language of colors, floral and female images, archetypal mythological space. The text takes heed of the terms decorativeness, ornament, synthesis, and also of colors as a universal language of expressing thei nvisible spiritual worlds in the context theosophical and anthroposophical viewpoints of the world. There have been put under interpretation some theosophical concepts which carry the encoded message about the rising up of the soul towards the Light and Mystery: color and meaning (the language of colors), jewels, archetypal images of the Woman (the Heavenly Woman), archetypal spaces (the East, the garden, the mountain and the desert).
