Summary/Abstract: The coronavirus pandemic has affected the whole world and has had unprecedented consequences on all sectors, including the media industry. Never had the need for information been so high as during this health crisis. Information has become a necessity for survival to the point that the UN has even denounced the repression of information during this pandemic. Access to information is now crucial in the face of such a crisis. The role of the public service media has never been as important as in situations of health, economic and social emergencies throughout the world. In this framework, we are interested in the media treatment adopted by the two Moroccan public channels SNRT and 2M to inform the population, fight against disinformation and fake news around the Covid-19 pandemic.
