Summary/Abstract: This study highlights how propaganda appartus used the Romanian historiography so as to serve the goals of the communist regime in Romania. In order to make a point with respect to this topic, I will focus on the articles published in the "Socialist Era" magazine in the 1980s, and rely on the studies carried out so far in the field of historiography under the communist regime.
