Summary/Abstract: The bibliographical data and the political considerations that are accounted in the pages of newspaper “Borba” could be a complementary reference for the progress of the scientific thought on the first faze of the Albanian uprising of 1912. According to same newspaper “Borba”, the reasons and the motives of the uprising were of social, cultural, political and national character, but the sublime goal was the autonomy of Albania. The uprising broke out during the middle of April of 1912 in Guci and in the region of Dukagjini. During the first half of May of 1912 frontal combats were conducted in the frontline of Prizreni-Gjakova-Peja-Mitrovica. Meanwhile the main battles were conducted in Ura e Shenjtë, amid Prizreni and Gjakova, and then somewhere amid Gjakova and Peja, as well as in the village Istog, amid Peja and Mitrovica. In the mean time frontal combats were conducted in Dibra e Vogël. Alongside the vilayet of Kosova and Shkodra during the second decade of May of 1912 the uprising spread quickly in the vilayets of Manastiri and Janina, or in the rest of Albania (Arnavutluk). During the third decade of May the Albanians substituted the tactic of frontal war with that of guerrilla war of small armed groups what made very difficult the suppress of the uprising. For the defeat of the uprising Istanbul took unsuccessful political and military measures. The Albanian uprising of 1912, from the first phase was lead from a cohesive national headship headed by Ismail Qemali and Hasan Prishtina. In the uprising were incorporated not only the masses but also part of the Albania’s society elites such as intellectuals and politicians etc. giving it a unique identity of serious dimensions in the ideological and organisation perspective.
