Summary/Abstract: The present research is regarding a problem with severe and actual consequences: human traffic. Representing a severe violation of any system of human rights protection, human traffic is punished in any civilized state, the international society making considerable efforts in order to limit this scourge. Romania is an important route in the victims’ transit from the Republic of Moldavia and Ukraine, reason for which the responsible authorities fight to elaborate and implement an adequate legislative frame regarding the human traffic phenomenon.
