Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the far right political parties during 2012 parliamentary elections in Slovakia. It analyses the results of the Slovak National Party (SNS) and People's Party Our Slovakia (ĽSNS) in 2012 elections in comparison with two previous elections of 2006 and 2010. The article introduces profiles of both SNS and ĽSNS and examines their lists of candidates. It also analyses their 2012 election programs and election issues. The results show consistent decrease of support for SNS and increase of support for ĽSNS. SNS gained the most votes in areas where majority of population is comprised of citizens with Slovak nationality. ĽSNS gained the most votes in areas where the so called Romani settlements are situated. Both parties gained the least votes in areas with mixed national population. The most important issues of SNS before 2012 elections were nationalism, criticism of Hungarian minority and EU and emphasizing the role of the strong nation state built upon traditional values. The most important issues of ĽSNS before 2012 elections were criticism of political elites and government and emphasizing the social welfare politics aimed at “own hard-working people” and not “lazy parasites”. The extensive part of ĽSNS election campaign was aimed against Romas.
