The aim of this paper is to create some kind of a philosophical synchronous machine. Philosophy needs to play with contexts, times, and vocabularies in order to generate new possibilities for the discourse. The basic philosophical stipulations of the trans-humanism were put into a discussion with the ideas of one Christian philosopher of the late 6th and early 7th century just to clarify that the trans-humanism, in its philosophical explication, has no serious philosophical substance. Furthermore, the concepts of St. Maximus can enhance the philosophical clarity and logical nuances of the trans-humanism. St. Maximus uses the conceptual triad to explain the relation within the Triadology: Logos of the essence, Tropos of the being and Hypostasis of the existence. Moreover, he also maintains that the dynamism of the world’s ontology is shaped by Logoi of the world. Every logos has its own tropos, and hence, it has infinite possibilities for hypostases that confirm the tropic factuality and efficiency of the logos. Nietzsche and the trans-humanists overlook the difference between the Logos and Hypostasis, and they misconceive the concepts of the ontological and the ontic level of the reality. Trans-humanism is possible only on the level of hypostasis due to the very dynamical tropos of the human logos. Hence, trans-humanism is logically consistent not as trans-essential but as trans-hypostatical, and from this point of view, the concept of Overhuman is just an artistic metaphor.

Организационни промени в Българската екзархия след Младотурския преврат (1908 – 1909)

Author(s): Rositsa Lelyova / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 2/2018

Following the introduction of the constitutional parliamentary regime in the Ottoman Empire post-July 1908, the Exarchate attempted to make use of the new situation in order to protect its rights and privileges that had been violated by the former authorities. The first step taken in that direction was the constitution of its governing bodies in Constantinople – the Synod and the Exarchate Council.

Modern mountaineering (mountain tourism) is an urban socio-cultural phenomenon that originated in Western Europe in the middle of the 19th century. The South Slavic mountaineers followed the basic European model, while enriching it with their national peculiarities. The contacts between Slovenian, Croatian, Bulgarian and Serbian mountaineers became particularly intense in the first decade of the twentieth century in the context of the Neo-Slav movement (Neo-Slavism). Through this movement, the topic of mountaineering with its actual or alleged Slavic peculiarities and dimensions was included in the agenda of the First Slavic Congress in Prague in 1908 and the Second Slavic Congress in Sofia in 1910. Steps have been undertaken to establish a Union of the Slavic Tourist Organizations that was to promote their mutual knowledge and cooperation. The Balkan and the First World War put an end to the projects of all-Slavic unity. Despite the strained political relations between Bulgaria and Yugoslavia in the interwar period, the connections between the South Slavic mountaineers were not interrupted. They developed mainly within the Association of Slavic Mountaineering Societies, a collective member of the Union Internationale des Associations d’Alpinisme. Two of the congresses of this organization were held in Sofia (1929 and 1936) and that enabled the Slovenian and the Croatian mountaineers to get to know Bulgarian mountains and establish organizational and personal ties with their Bulgarian counterparts. The Bulgarian mountaineers also visited Ljubljana and Zagreb. Despite the attempts at ideologization and politicization, on the eve and during the Second World War the links between South Slavic Bulgarian mountaineers remained a beautiful page in the relations between the two nations that enriched their cultural cooperation and deserves to be studied and popularized.

Относно обективната необходимост от анекс към Договора за добросъседство между България и Македония

Author(s): Ivan Vinarov / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 4/2019

The purpose of this article is to argue the need for an annex to the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of (North) Macedonia. Its adoption has become necessary after the conclusion of the Prespa Agreement between our southwestern neighbor and the Hellenic Republic, as a result of which new challenges have arisen for the Bulgarian state (some of which were skillfully transferred to Sofia by Athens). The most complex problems are related to the new name of the Macedonian state, to the recognition by the Greeks of the so-called Macedonian language, as well as to the theft of the declared common history. The need for unity of action in relation to Macedonia by all responsible factors in Bulgarian politics is a good start to the complex process of solving these problems.

ОТНОШЕНИЕТО НА ЦЪРКВАТА КЪМ „ЧУЖДЕНЦИТЕ“ ПРЕЗ ІV И V В.

The kindness to the stranger is typical for all Mediterranean societies and as part of their cultures Christianity is no exception. The kindness of Christians however is somehow different. During 4th and 5th centuries the social influence of the Church and bishops significantly increased and started to affect all segments of roman society. Among the important social changes implemented during this period was the attitude towards strangers. Few bishops played an important role in this process – St Ambrose, St. Basil the Great and St. John Chrysostom. Some of their deeds – Basil’s Basileada and Chrysostom’s relations with Goths, and standings – Ambrose’s sermon against the expulsion of foreigners from Rome, started to change social perception of foreigners and implemented changes visible even today – the establishment of hospitals and hostels.

In this article the application of Sharia law over the Muslim population of Vardar Macedonia is demonstrated. The application of Sharia Law form the establishment of Ottoman rule until the end of the Second World War is directly related to functioning of state Sharia courts. In this era the Sharia law is part of the positive law. With the change in the historical and political context in the aftermath of First World War, the Sharia court have been included in the Yugoslavian secular state as a structure, relatively independent form the Muslim religious authority, which is based on principles of spiritual hierarchy. Its application have had a positive impact, preserving the Muslim population`s identity. After the Second World War the Sharia court are dismissed. From the legal-normative point of view it is not possible to state that this is Sharia law, because there is a lack of state coercion, which is one of the prerequisites to talk about law. After this point, the essence of sharia ruling is preserved via moral relations and obligations, customs and traditions and the work of the religious institutions as well.

The paper is a continuation of the article Ἀλέξανδρος und die vorgriechischen Namen auf -ανδρος published in the volume Thracia 15 dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Professor Alexander Fol. On the one hand, it disproves D. Dana’s untrue and unsubstantiated assertion that according to the author of the article, Ἀλέξανδρος is a Thracian name, and on the other hand, it discusses new research on the languages spoken in the Palaeo-Balkan space, as well as onomastic evidence that is either new or not used in the article, providing additional grounds for supporting the hypothesis expressed there.
