The aim of the article is to analyse the subscription model and its economic profitability for press publishers. The paid model of access to content and media services on the Internet has become an opportunity to overcome the crisis of the decline in readership of the printed press and increase the revenues of its publishers. The example of Gazeta Wyborcza, which was the first daily in Poland to introduce paid digital subscriptions, shows that their sale is quickly becoming the dominant form of copy sales, mainly due to a large drop in sales of the title in print. However, lower profitability of digital subscriptions results in lower revenues from sales of content to readers, and lower revenues from online advertising – lower total revenues. The analysis, therefore, showed that digital subscriptions are a way to win back readers, but not a sufficient source of funding for press activities.

The Holy Scripture contains in its pages numerous examples of fine irony, but only under the seal of wisdom and morality, in the mentioned order, because wisdom comes first and then morality. In the pages of the Holy Scriptures, wisdom is not transmitted so much through a sermon, as through the direct utterance of a conclusion reached by the one who utters it through his own experience. That is why, just like in the case of poetic literature, we can’t say that it is all in a few specific books, even regarding the Old Testament sapiential literature. But wisdom was perceived differently in the Old Testament period compared to the New Testament period. As far as speculative wisdom is concerned, the authors of the books in the biblical canon go beyond the practical aspect of life in their thinking and reflect on deeper issues related to the meaning and value of life, the problem of the existence of evil in the world, salvation, etc. In all these examples it is divine irony that, in exemplary pedagogy, defines, reinforces, and emphasizes the difference between divine and human wisdom. The wisdom of these books is theocentric, practical and speculative at the same time. However, there is a difference that we must continue to try to preserve between human irony with a philosophical-pedagogical character compared to biblical irony or even the irony of Christ, a way of expression through which he uses words or images with the opposite meaning to the fully accepted one in order to stress the ridicule of malice and stupidity. Education in the spirit of divine wisdom and Christian morality confers on the one who acquires it a dignity that is permanently appreciated

Laughter is a universal response to various situations and takes many different forms, from bitter sarcasm to harmless self-irony and from silly jokes to witty remarks or meaningful anecdotes. Despite the universality of humour itself, the mechanisms that trigger it vary from culture to culture. Therefore, when dealing with people from different countries, in a professional environment, it is essential to know the cultural peculiarities of each type of humour they respond to, in order to avoid blunders or misunderstandings. The main purposes of this article are to present the theories on humour, to raise awareness on the types of comic effects pertaining to different nations and to give examples of how humour can be used in intercultural contexts as an icebreaker, a successful way to keep a conversation going, a tension reliever in business or political talks or, simply, a team binder in a multicultural company.

In this research we are interested in the lexical peculiarities and means of humorous expression used in the satirical magazine Mullah Nasreddin published in Azerbaijani from 1907 to 1931 during a period of tormented socio-political events in the country which largely influenced its society and its culture. Criticism and exposition of social issues as well as colorful caricatures had ample space. Those who created the magazine wanted to develop the social and political consciousness of the people. As the definition of humor varies from one language to another and the means of expressing them too. The different references in the French and Azerbaijani languages justify it. For example, in the satirical magazine Mullah Nasreddin we find proverbs and anecdotes, the laughter provoked by the opposite meaning which serves to determine the ideal, the target of criticism. The most widely used means of humorous expression in the articles of the magazine are the play on words, the use of Russian words which had a strong influence at the time and the various characteristic expressions in spoken language expressing mockery, irony and sarcasm.

The theme of the article is a commemoration of the establishment of the first women's pictorial magazine, which started publishing in Slovakia on February 20, 1948. The magazine Slovenka was a mutation of the Czech journal Venkovská žena and was published biweekly on sixteen pages. Its content aimed at promoting the communist regime after the Victorious February, as well as educating rural women and gradually integrating them into the working-class environment, especially in the 1950s. The article also explores the relationship between the Association Živena and the Slovak Women’s Union, into which the traditional association was forcibly incorporated, and within which Slovenka was published. The text also focuses on the period after 1990 when the magazine became a promoter of the ruling movement even under democratic conditions. Nowadays, Slovenka is perceived as an influential periodical with a variety of attractive events and surveys.

This research aims to design and construct an electronic notice as an alternative to the traditional signpost parting on walls and billboards by providing practical, reliable and proper information dissemination. They consist of the following units, the power supply, voltage regulators, GSM modules, microcontroller, LED dot matrix display board, counter and subscriber identity module (SIM). The power supply comprises a 240/9 v ac 50 Hz step-down transformer rectifier filter and voltage regulations. AT89852, a low-power, high-performance CM05 8-bit microcontroller with 8 k bytes in-system programmable flash memory, is used in this design. A constant five v de is required to power microcontrollers and their associated input/output channel. GSM Modern is a wireless device that works with a GSM wireless network. The counter circuit of the device used to achieve this type of counting is the 5-stage Johnson decade counter. It is a typical chip in the 74HC555, with ten decoded outputs that go high one at a time. The assembler used for this research is MLAB version 5.7, downloaded from the microchip website. This window-based integrated development environment (IDE) software supports the PIC and other microcontrollers. The project constitutes both the software and hardware section for successful implementation. Operation more focus was given to the contribution of the system hardware. For verification of proper functionality of the message board, variation tests carry out and their results. Each component was carefully tested, and hardware troubleshooting and software debugging were carried out. The message was sent, and it appeared and started moving from left to right. In conclusion, by introducing the concept of wireless technology in communication, we can make our communication more efficient and faster with excellent efficiency, and the message can be displayed with less error and maintenance. This model can be used efficiently in establishments like colleges where in-order and special discounts can be displayed simultaneously at all branches. It is therefore recommended as a conventional model can say more than one message at a time LEDS have a limitation on size and a good number of characteristics. These can be replaced with large LED display boards, which not only catch bulb display attributes in a moving position one after another

This study aims to examine the professional standards of journalists in Albania and Kosovo to determine the relevance of Hallin and Mancini's media system in the age of digital journalism and social media. This is because the media system continues to be an important analytical tool for understanding the fundamental characteristics of national media and comparing media sectors across countries. A qualitative method was utilized to elucidate this, with semi-structured interviews performed with 22 television and digital journalism editors and journalists, as well as social media managers in Albania and Kosovo. The findings indicate that although television stations continue to target traditional audiences using professional journalism standards, journalists in digital journalism and social media compromise on professional standards to give the public what they want. Although Hallin and Mancini’s media system as an analytical framework for evaluating media models remains useful, the criteria for evaluating them should be changed in light of changes in the media environment over the last two decades.

Personal demand for information and opinions seems to be constantly increasing in the age of digital media. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a new milestone for the constantly developing media. The influence of artificial intelligence on journalism is an interesting subject for research. Although, the main field of reflection should be focused on infoethics. Automation anxiety, means the fear of automation, accompanies journalists more and more frequently. For some, robotization of journalism is only a way to save money in the newsroom, and for others a catalyst for algorithm bias, contributes to the formation of an information bubble, causes a confirmation effect and fosters the generation of so-called deep fakes. Still other opinions indicate the positive side of the process, e.g. greater transparency of journalism and the discovery by AI of such connections between facts that would never have been discovered otherwise. So is there a space left in the media of the Web 3.0 era for a journalist’s personality, reflection, responsibility for the word and personalism? These problems are key at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century.

The article is an attempt to prove that cinema, becoming a kind of home of a mythical being –a vampire, clearly influences the change in the perception of its importance in culture. It was decided to explore the form and narrative of The Hunger, directed by Tony Scott and Only Lovers Left Alive, written by Jim Jarmusch, because both of these works are masterpieces of the romance of the vampire myth with the film medium, which are not particularly popular among researchers of the phenomenon. The research works of Roland Barthes, Vladimir Propp, Erich Fromm and Rollo May were used, as well as the concepts of successive processing of a mythical story were demonstrated.
