The Kazakhstan is characterized by number of factors that define anthropogenic and natural manifestations of increased radioactivity the main of which are numerous sites of abnormal increases in natural radioactivity, uranium deposits, and ore. Long-term and large-scale activities of uranium mines and mining enterprises of other minerals associated with uranium mineralization have negative impact on public health. It has not been determined the radiation dose that people of Central Asia gets from radionuclides of uranium, a high level of radon in the contaminated areas. In the present study, uranium mine-workers in the Stepnogorsk mining-milling complex in Northern Kazakhstan were investigated for the expression of chromosome aberrations and for genetic factors that can modify the exposure-related expression of chromosome damage.The study suggests that uranium mine-workers in Northern Kazakhstan have excessive exposure that can cause an increased risk for health consequences such as cancer. In addition, GSTM1 and/or GSTT1 null genetically susceptible individuals may have higher health risk.

The article reviews the risk factors of the effect of the asbestos on the health of the workers. The strongly carcinogenic effect of asbestos has been highlighted. Organizational measures to protect workers during demolition of buildings have been proposed. The data which is generated and collected nowadays has a volume which requires developing a special paradigms. „Big Data” is the today’s buzzword. With the lowering the hardware prices more companies, are able to keep data bigger than Zeta bytes. The aim of this research is to follow how common the „Big data“ paradigm is. The work over this material was divided into three parts. During the first part ten different keywords were defined, which were used for a search in four popular scientific data bases. During the second stage of the research three new data bases were used and the keywords were consolidated. During the last stage of the research four new keywords were introduced. The aim of this research is to follow the development of the paradigm of “Big Data” during the last ten years through the methods of the sciencemetric.

The linear frequency modulated (LFM) signal reflected from the scene, relief of the Earth surface is presented as matrix multiplication of three matrices: azimuth Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) matrix, image matrix and range IDFT matrix. L0 norm optimization image reconstruction procedure is applied over reduced number of measurements defined by randomly generated azimuth and range sensing matrix. The report presents the results of the studies carried out in the electricity supply system of "Plastics Products" JSC - Sredets. Due to the presence of non-linear loads, commensurate with power with the power transformers, higher harmonics are generated in the company's power supply system. Loads are imposed by the used technological equipment for the production of plastic products. This mainly causes problems related to the inability to compensate for the power factor, to increase the electrical losses in the network and the other electrical equipment of the company, etc. The aim of the study is to quantify and qualitatively deal with the interference caused by the non-linear electrical charges and the causes of the compensating capacitor failure. Appropriate management measures are proposed to address emerging issues.

”The present book is a light introduction into the world of computer programming. It turns out that we do not have to be computer geniuses to learn to code. Most people have a limited knowledge about the construction and functioning of a car or a motorbike, but still it does not prevent them from sitting behind the wheel and driving. We do not have to know the basic construction and functioning of computers in order to be able to make use of them. Coding is a similar case. Today we have many different programming languages to choose from. We can start learning to use any of them, but in the case of some languages this process is going to be easier, while in the case of others – more difficult. A Chinese proverb says ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’, and this is why we are going to focus on a programming language which is particularly orientated towards creating pictures. The language in question is Processing. It is a dialect of Java, the most popular programming language (October 2016) according to TIOBE1 ranking. Processing has been designed especially for artists, thanks to which it is very easy to learn. The best way of learning to code is writing programmes as often as possible. The mere reading of the book will not make you proficient as far as coding is concerned. Thus, while reading, you are advised to re-write the exemplary programmes, modify them and use as an encouragement to write your own. If you follow this advice, after finishing the book you will surely know a lot about the process of coding. You may not be a coding guru, but still you will learn the basic skills of computer programming and you will possess the knowledge enabling you to follow different paths. Maybe in future you will even become a professional programmer, which we wish for you. The book has been aimed at those who do not have any previous experience with coding, therefore many concepts are discusses in great detail. For the readers who do have some programming background it may seem to be boring, but they also can find something valuable in this book: they will have a chance to learn the basics of the Processing language. Readers are not required to be familiar with any advanced tools. The only requirements are the elementary knowledge of mathematics and the willingness to learn to code. Prezentul volum conţine lucrările conferinţei internaţionale "MISISQ: Implicare. Creativitate. Sustenabilitate", desfăşurată la Chişinău la 2 ani de la încheierea oficială a Proiectului. În vara acestui an a avut loc monitorizarea din partea Oficiului Erasmus+ în Moldova, sprijinit de Uniunea Europeană, la care fiecare participant a relatat despre semnificativele realizări în perioada postproiect. Dezvoltarea celor trei obiective fundamentale nu s-a oprit odată cu încheirea Proiectului, ci a continuat prin implicaţiile merituoase ale bibliotecarilor şi partenerilor din Europa, aducând eficienţă şi relevanţă domeniului de învăţământ şi biblioteconomic asigurând durabilitatea Proiectului prin in-strumentele, metodologiile, echipamentele şi deschiderea către comunitatea academică.
