Farms are cultural and ambience special feature of pannonian plain and, in the sense of cultural heritage, they are the protective symbol of Northern Bačka. Farm or “salaš” on Serbian language, represents green oasis made of house, farm buildings, sweep and the endless cultivated plain, but also represents the way of living. As a specific creation of folk architecture and as a special ethnographic museum, with preserved old tools, pottery, folk costume and folk customs, usually situated in preserved natural ambience, farms are attractive for tourists. Unfortunately, they have never been used enough in tourist presentation. The best results in tourist valorization are achieved with farms near towns Subotica and Sombor. These farms require relatively small investments for tourist arrangement and farmers are interested in developing tourism, which can contribute in different ways to revitalization of farms. Farms should create tourist offer, based on unique experience of the plain, authentic ambience, tradition, healthy food. In many European countries, tourism has been recognized as an appropriate tool to revitalize rural areas and to ensure their sustainable development. In this paper, there is going to be presented tourist arrangement and offer of Cvetni salaš (Flowery farm) and Majkin salaš (Grandma’s farm), which are situated on Palić, settlement with long tourist tradition.

The Tobacco city is a case which at a certain moment attracted significant publicattention; at the same time, it is an example which combines various discourses. Inorder to find the specificity of this case, the article examines three more exampleswhich in geographical and historical aspect are appropriate for comparative researchon the problem, having in mind the commensurability in reference to size and significanceof the settlement and the cultural and industrial traditions, the relevant timecoincidence of the processes, as well as the geographical and economic representativeness. The research questions which the study attempts to answer are analyticalas well as completely practical, related to real management and political decisions. From an anthropological point of view, we are interested in the problem of the correlationbetween re-functionalizing with the purpose of settling, attracting investmentsand publics, and updating the use and access, one the one hand, and, on the other, thenarrative which represents the space itself in its capacity of heritage and the degree towhich this narrative should be preserved.

People`s migrations have played important part in the development of Brzi Brod. Their score and intensity are directly connected to the overall socio-economic development. The same reason we can find in those happening on large scale in the contemporary phase of Brzi Brod. Migrations of the inhabitants of Brzi Brod are the key factor for the transformation of settlement. It has had the most important impact on the change of demography (intensive growth of the total population, change of the demographic structure, demographic movements etc.), morph-physiognomic (the special development of settlement, changes in the appearance of the settlement etc.) and functional character of Brzi Brod (the growth of functional capacity, development of new developed functions, weakling of the farming function etc.).

Author(s): Mirjana M. Rašević / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 3/2006

Central Serbia and Vojvodina are the areas where the process of demographic ageing has reached great ranges. Population ageing process will continue in near future, especially among the elder population. Poverty is the most widespread among the elders, who suffer worse living conditions and consuming structure comparing to the rest of population. At the same time there are clear weaknesses in institutional and instrumental fulfillment of the needs of elders. That is why this issue requires a political answer. At least a triple one. A Direct one, related to the recognition and realization of elders’ needs, than the one concerning the elongation of the period of good health, and finally the one that refers to insufficient natality as the main cause of population ageing.

Фертилитет становништва Србије у последњој деценији XX века

Author(s): Jelena Srećković / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 1/2004

Birth rate as a demographic factor is under the influence, both by the natural and social factors. The goal of this paper is to show the level of birth rate which is under the influence of he social conditions in the last ten years of the 20th century. The decade mentioned is known in Serbia as the one with unsuitable social conditions, as well as considerable migration of population from the former republics of Yugoslavia to the Republic of Serbia. Besides, the article is showing the fertility of women according to its marital, educational and national structure. The final goal is to make the picture of the fertility characteristics at the end of the 20th century and the starting point of the next century. It can be seen that the demographic transition was not the only factor to be considered in connection with fertility conditions but also the specific social context. The methodology for this kind of investigation does not exist although the connections are obvious.

Physical and chemical characteristics of water infusions of flints are measured and analyzed: рН, the oxidation-reduction potential, the specific electric conductivity, and the content of silicon in the solution. The рН in solutions of water infusions of flints stays within the range of the values of this parameter approved by the normative documents for waters of drinking purposes. The values of oxidation-reduction potentials of water infusions of flints are positive and make from > 300 to < 500 mV, which shouldn’t cause any change in the oxidation-reduction potentials of the internal environment of an organism, and curative properties of these infusions can’t be connected with the Eh parameter. The content of water-soluble mineral connections and of the easily acquired orthosilicon acid in flints is very insignificant; water infusions of flints can’t change the osmotic pressure of biological liquids and be considered as essential sources of silicon for a human body.

Фотографията като илюстрация в българската художествена литература. Няколко примера от втората половина на ХХ век

Author(s): Katerina Gadjeva / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 3/2016

The paper focuses on the complicated interaction between text and image in fiction and poetry. Unlike literature that tries and clears readers’ minds of anything familiar, material or ‘possible’, photography is going just the other way around constantly bringing them back down to earth, binding them up with the existing. For this reason both authors and publishers oriented towards experiments and challenges would resort to it. Though there were few isolated cases in Bulgaria of photos used in book design early in the twentieth century, the earliest books intentionally designed with photographic illustrations were published as late as the 1960s, when fine art photography made its comeback in this country. In 1966, Narodna Mladezh publishing house released two dozens of books with photographic illustrations made exclusively for a series of crime and adventure novels. In 1973, Pavel Matev’s book of poetry Spoils of Silences came out with photos by Peter Bozhkov; in 1987, Labyrinth, a poetry book by Blaga Dimitrova and photos by Stanka Tsonkova-usha, was released. Though just a few, these publications show that photography and literature stand shoulder to shoulder and ‘technical pictures’ rather stimulate than put the brakes on the imagination.

ФУНДАМЕНТАЛНЕ НАЗНАКЕ НАСЕОБИНСКЕ ГЕНЕЗЕ ПРОСТОРА СУВОБОРСКОГ РАЈЦА У 20. ВЕКУ

Author(s): Ivan B. Popović / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 1/2006

Organization of settlement of attractive mountainous regions of Serbia was always, and still is, very interesting for different solutions especially because of its director indirect tourist functions. With slow or sometimes sporadically fast changes the development of settlements has chronologically gone through different stages, especially in those low-mountainous regions that took part in tourism in the last decades of the 20th century. In those regions we can definitely include the vast area of Suvoborski Rajac the most eastern hill-side of well known Podrinjsko-Valjevske Mountains. Mostly bordered with appearance of new structures for accommodation of tourists, already mentioned stages permit chronological recognition of their settlement parts, mostly attributed through the social conditions with socio-economic character of that time period. The first stage (1954-1961) of settlement genesis was marked with construction of new mountain house and initial construction of objects for rest and relaxation. After slow construction of objects of this type in this stage, more intensive construction in the next stage (1962-1972) followed during next period of the development of settlement. It is the time when the region also got its tourist marks since they were represented through operation of other accommodation capacities (three rest homes of closed and semi closed type). In the following two stages (1978-1982 and 1983-1992) of settlement genesis of the region only construction of objects for rest and recreation was evident. It has also shaped the region. With twenty newly constructed objects for rest and recreation, two completely new an one renovated , settlement area of Rajac got its newest physiognomy at the end of the 20th century.
