The situation of unschooled teenagers in the labor market seems particularly worrisome. This study is related to concerns about the social integration of adolescents and aims to identify the determinants of the future of out-of-school adolescents in the commune of Tchaourou. It specifically addresses, through a nested multinomial logit regression, two aspects of the “future” of adolescents out of-school: economic activity and future plans. The results show that the size of the household of residence and the financial support granted by parents/guardians are the key factors in the exercise of an income-generating activity by out-of-school adolescents. The future of adolescents out-of-school are significantly influenced by the relationship with the head of the household, the standard of living of the household and the type of household.

Influence of social media on EFL undergraduate students’ academic learning performances during Covid-19 lockdown period

Due to the spread of the pandemic, the learning system has changed which affected the students’ performance to master the English language appropriately inside classrooms. Social media is an essential means that facilitate the learning process for both learners and teachers. Therefore, this study aims to find out if the students are affected negatively or positively in their learning process through the use of social media during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how social media contributes to EFL students. This study has been carried out using a qualitative interview conducted with 9 (male and female) students. In this study, the findings revealed that third-year EFL students beneficially used social media applications; they were impacted positively by the adoption of social media in learning the English language. So, students’ learning performances were improved. Also, the COVID-19 pandemic affected their English language skills positively.

In article is presented my experience in working with children in USA and phenomena that appeared in contact with them and parents. I also had opportunity to witness effects of pandemic and raise some questions about the future of development. Pandemic experience has constricted contact functions and possibly affected development of I-You relationship. Therapeutic contact has made transformation and switched from physical space to virtual space. In this change some new challenges have been brought to the field of working with children. The question is, how can we develop online playing?

Edukace rodičů dětí s neurovývojovým postižením prostřednictvím online podpory a e-learningu

The following article introduces the project Telepractice – support for children with neurodevelopmental disorders through behavioral interventions, which is a comprehensive model of online intervention in the field of applied behavioural analysis. The aim of the text is to describe the main outcomes of the project and their possible use in practice. The Telepractice website makes available to the public manuals and materials to provide online for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The materials target both the implementation of the intervention itself, as well as its legal and administrative support and sharing of good practice. The individual outputs are based on applied research using various methods and techniques of data collection and analysis. Results of research are published in two papers describing the pilot testing of the elearning course and the subsequent delivery of the online intervention in the form of expert consultation. Results demonstrated that the program was socially valid and contributed to sklil gains and increased quality of life. Detailed evaluation of all project outputs provided room for further improvement online interventions for families of children with ASD.

Alternative Approaches to Vocational Education and Training – Part 2

In this paper, the author continues the discussion he started in Budgell (2021): Alternative Approaches to Vocational Education and Training. A presentation of the basic ability distribution (as determined by the World Population Review (2020)) of the Bulgarian Population is followed by an analysis of the Programme for International Student Progress 2018. The author then goes on the analyse the efficiency of the Bulgarian Education System by analysing the school structure in one municipality. This is followed by an analysis of the effectiveness of the system which indicates that, even given the basic ability distribution, the pupils’ skills in reading, mathematics and science are below expectations. The data indicates that the problems with developing basic skills are concentrated in Vocational/Professional Schools. The author goes on the conclude that there should be a smaller number of larger schools (130 – 156 pupils in each grade) providing greater choice for the pupils. Furthermore, vocational training should commence in Grade 11 in larger Vocational Colleges that provide a wider range of career paths and enable pupils to postpone their career decision until they are at least 17 years old.

This article summarizes the results of a study of the aggressive attitudes and emotional state of the students of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and Medical College “Y. Filaretova”. The current environment and conditions of crisis – social, energy, economic, political, cultural, spiritual, value, etc. instills the feeling of fear – fear of disease, fear of war, etc. The lack of morals and stable values, as well as the lack of statehood, unquestionably unlocks in man his worst qualities. Aggression is one of those qualities.The studied students answered two questionnaires, one containing 75 questions and the other 28. The analysis of the data shows that most of the students do not feel respected enough and consider that their rights are violated, but they tend not to respect and/or circumvent the rules, to “maneuver” and tolerate irresponsible behavior. A large number of students have aggressive attitudes and tend to hide them, but in general they are tense, unbalanced.

The article presents a scientific study on the interest of female football referees in Bulgaria and the society's attitude towards them. Both current and former football referees (girls and women) were subjected to research in order to establish the motives for practicing football refereeing, the aspirations and expectations for personal development and improvement. The method of pedagogical research survey in the form of an online survey was used. The obtained results found uniform results regarding the motivation and expectations of the respondents and diversity in the answers regarding the interest in women's football refereeing. The difficulties that women experience in their professional path as football referees are also determined, as well as the reasons for ending a refereeing career.

The need to train specialized staff in medical cosmetology in higher education is determined by the desire to improve the quality of life of modern man. The purpose of this survey is to determine the need for inclusion in the curriculum of the specialty “Medical Cosmetics” training of disciplines related to specialized services in the field of recreation. Made are documents’ study (curriculum) and survey among 47 students from Medical College – Pleven (Bulgaria), on issues related to satisfaction with training and opportunities for professional realization. The comparative analysis of the curricula with other educational institutions shows that the education model presented by the Medical University – Pleven, includes a significantly larger number of study hours and credits in the study disciplines of recreology. The model for recreology training developed and tested at the MU – Pleven, provides a versatile and in-depth training for specialists in medical cosmetics and opportunity for realization in a wider field of activity.

Limited motor activity – during pandemic and distance learning, negatively affects the physical fitness and motivation for sports activities of people of all age groups, including students involved in the tennis training process at the University at Sofia university. Tennis is a sport distinguished by great variability of spatial, temporal and power characteristics of motor activity. This defines it as a difficult game to master. Achieving a good level of technical readiness requires repeated application of the different technical elements, and the size of the physical load is quite high. The achievement of the goal and tasks in tennis training at the University largely depends on factors such as desire for systematic training activities, presence of lasting interests in practicing the game, conscious attitude and active participation in the performance of various exercises. All this leads us to examine the attitudes, desires and interests of students in tennis discipline and to establish whether they are changing as a result of epidemiological restrictions. This will allow us to conduct full training and achieve faster restoration of normal life rhythm and training work at the university.

It has its place in the sports programs of schools, universities, many fitness centers and has even become a sport discipline.In order to increase the physical activity of students in aerobics classes, an experiment was made with the introduction of a new stress element - involving bounces, jumps and movements with the springy Kango jumps device. Appropriate choreography was applied with variable tempo music and a new countdown phase.In order to establish the effectiveness of the program, the dynamics of the pulse rate during the exercise was monitored, which in this case marked aerobic and even anaerobic mode of operation.

The topics covered are specifically related to theoretical and practical preparation, knowledge of study content, preparation of outline plans and delivery of lessons. As part of the research output, we find that prospective sports educators have difficulties in developing outline plans and delivering lessons for certain sports.

Investigation and Reflections on Gender Differences in Vocal Music Education

The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching methods and related theoretical studies of gender differences in bel canto. Focusing on four aspects: breathing, vocalization, resonance, and emotional expression, this study implements vocal music through gender-differentiated teaching methods and strategies. By carrying out a case study, the author summarizes the application and effectiveness of these teaching methods in the teaching of bel canto, and draws the following conclusions based on the research results: first, teaching methods tailored for gender differences enable students to make rapid progress in singing, breathing, vocalization, resonance, and emotional expression; their goals of learning vocal music are clearer. Second, the gender- dependent teaching methods promote the amelioration of vocal music teaching, break through the difficulties in practical teaching, and improve the teaching level and ability of instructors. Finally, this article puts forward teaching and research suggestions for vocal teachers and vocal education.

Students Opinion on the Values of Intercultural Education as Education for Future in Primary School

Intercultural education is an education of interpersonal relationships, which involves members of different cultures, whose fundamental objective is to increase the effectiveness of intercultural relations, to increase the degree of openness, tolerance, acceptance of others. The integration of intercultural education in the school space is a complex and not at all easy process, which requires specific skills and approaches from teachers. Pupils, from the earliest ages, namely, primary schools, should be able to appreciate the richness of a diverse range of cultures and be helped in practical ways to recognize and challenge stereotypes. Wherever prejudice and discrimination exist, they must be addressed. The following article, presents brief research on the opinions and experience of Preschool and primary school students from Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, regarding the values of intercultural education teaching and practice within primary schools, in the Romanian school curriculum, in order to integrate the pupil in the society of the future. They have shared their thoughts regarding the preparation level that they get in the study years at the above-mentioned specialty, through data collected within several sessions of focus groups.

The Approach of the Albanian Reality to Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder associated with persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts and restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviour, interests, or activities. The ways in which autism, culture and the education system interact have not yet been explored sufficiently, even more so when it comes to Albania. Through literature reviews, interviews, and case studies we aim to further investigate how autism is assessed and treated within the Albanian school system and how culture can affect the parent-teacher-child triangle. We also investigate the implementation of laws and policies regarding inclusive education, and its benefits to autistic individuals, specifically in the development of social skills that further help them to integrate into society. We also try to figure out the difficulties autistic individuals face within the school system and in their day-to-day life in Albania, as well as how Autism Spectrum Disorder affects the families of these individuals. This qualitative study found that the reality in Albania is not supportive enough towards autistic individuals. With further research into the field, we might be able to back this statement up with empirical data as well as figure out how this condition can be improved.

Slučaj srpske škole u Kumanovu u svjetlu dokumenata Osmanskog arhiva

In addition to many problems of the 19th century, it was the Macedonian Question at the end of the century that sparked considerable interest. Finding a solution required inclusion not only of the leading World powers but also of the regional Balkan countries Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria.The Macedonian Question vastly manifested itself in the educational and ecclesiastical sphere which led to the intangible cultural war between the countries involved. In this paper, we will discuss the shutdown of the Serbian school in Kumanovo and it’s reopening through diplomatic ways. Kumanovo is a remarkable example of the Macedonian Question, where the educational and ecclesiastical affairs were highly influenced by the excharhists and patriarchists. We aim to elaborate on the efficiency of the Ottoman Empire’s bureaucratic mechanism, which solved and prevented possible crises and conflicts in writing. The Ottoman archive, one of the greatest legacies of the Ottoman Empire, abounds with many materials that are still unexplored. Finding a document means nothing without knowing the administrative mechanism of the Empire, the structure of the Archive and its functionality. More often than not, the documents are of the bureaucratical essence, but it is its content that includes the name of the department, office or the addressed individual, as well as various details and elements of the issue discussed, that can draw a rather extensively broad picture of the event withnin its particular time frame and political circumstances. By using the example of the Serbian school in Kumanovo we will expand on the idea of the Ottoman system solving the Macedonian Que stion. From the local superintendent of education, through the wali, ambassadors and ministers of foreign affairs and education, to the Grand Vizier and the Sultan, everyone was involved and engaged in parallel intercourse, without any hindrance in communication and conveyance.

The researcher focuses primarily on problems related to the way Bednarek represents human relations with the world. Wójcik-Dudek proves that in Bednarek’s work, thread and its literal and symbolic meanings have the strongest frequency in presenting a man entangled in the world.
