ETHICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL ASPECTS OF ON-LINE EDUCATION

The implementation of online education has roughly the same beginnings as the Internet. Without being new, therefore, education in the online system - adopted selectively and optionally, depending on the needs and possibilities of different geographical areas of the world - has become, as a result of the medical context generated by COVID-19, part of the educational reality of any student and teaching staff respectively. An extreme situation that required the adaptation and instant reconfiguration of methods of knowledge transmission and evaluation within the institutionalized training process. Beyond the component of replacing the physical space of the class/course with a domestic environment, (a variable of great psychological impact on the subjects) there is the problem of adjustment, respectively reception and reproduction (through evaluation) of informational contents in an exclusively non-interactive manner proved to be the real challenge. One that everyone involved in the didactic process had to face, this time the "selective" and "optional" criteria becoming imperative. Even though before the start of the period in question, the e-learning system was an integral part of the educational process, it operated in a hybrid manner, with participants having the possibility of direct collaboration. The new reality, translated by cancelling these possibilities, brought with it profound transformations, especially at the cognitive, behavioural, and relational level. How the students understood to report this new reality from the perspective of ethical behaviour objectifies this article.

Разузнавателно и информационно осигуряване на бойното пространство при водене на неконвенционални бойни действия

The report analyzes the characteristic features of the combat space for conducting unconventional warfare (Irregular Warfare-IW), taking into account the changes and peculiarities in the specifics and characteristics of combat actions at the current stage of the development of armed conflicts in different regions. By using the forms and approaches of intelligence anal-sis and taking into ac-count the requirements of the four successive stages of the intelligence cycle, the methods and ap-proaches are formulated for using the potential of the types of technical intelligence and of intelli-gence using the human factor in the interest of obtaining and interpreting information correspond-ing in volume and direction in the interest of the objectives and tasks of unconventional warfare (IW). The systematization of the obtained analytical assessments ensures the determination of the role and effects of conducting information and psychological operations with the use of modern information technologies in the preparation and implementation of unconventional combat actions (IW). The requirements for the specialized training of the analyst teams, performing analysis and evaluation of the obtained specific information regarding the characteristics of the unconventional battlefield and preparing the final intelligence product, have been determined in order of im-portance.

The aim of this paper is to describe the main advantages of the application of different types of planar antennas in security based on their design, functionalities, and limitations, considering that they are suitable for various applications such as AM radio (0.5 MHz – 1.6 MHz) and FM radio (88 MHz – 108 MHz), Wi-Fi (2.4 – 5 GHz), Bluetooth (2.4 GHz), control of access through identification systems with radio frequency tags (Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and mobile data. The analysis of software products for the simulation modeling of a wide variety of microwave devices, including planar antennas, contributes to the correct selection of a product that will satisfy the requirements for the credibility of the research and the reliability of the generated results.

The text discusses aspects of the emergence of geopolitics as a theory based on the synthesis of knowledge from history, geography and political science. Attention is paid to the geopolitical dimensions of national state power. It briefly defines what constitutes great (great powers), middle and weak states and their role in global politics. The elements characterizing the national power of a country are mentioned. A brief definition of military conflict is defined, as well as expectations of what types of military conflicts will eventually be fought in the world. A proper assessment of the country's place, interests and capabilities in the new security environment is presented as a basis for making the right choices.

The report examines the impact of the pandemic on global education, drawing on experience and changes in foreign education systems. The study aims to seek answers to questions such as: To what extent has the Bulgarian education system and its participants shown a resource to respond to the crisis?; More benefits or harms bring the urgent transition from in-person to online training?; Does the „step-by-step” reformation have the potential to grow into a new kind of education?”, and many more. The report also considers the prerequisites for the failures/successes of distance learning, including teachers‘ and students‘ levels of digital and media literacy and the role of the media and social networks in asserting or questioning its effectiveness.

The vital role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing the efficiency of Extended Detection and Response (XDR) systems has been revealed. It is determined that AI significantly improves the capabilities of XDR, which is in line with the continuously evolving landscape of digital threats, allowing for faster and more accurate detection and response to incidents. Real-world application scenarios, effectiveness, and the potential improvement of cyber incident response strategies, thanks to the integration of AI into XDR systems, are presented. Results from the research that was conducted show a significant reduction in detection and response times, a progressive decrease in the number of false alarms, and higher efficiency in human resource management, securing the protection of ndividual information assets.

The authors of this paper set out to examine the impact of some of the more important Chinese and Russian geostrategic projects in the context of the global confrontation between the old and new Great Powers and the impact their actions project on our national security. The scope of the research is focused on the border security of the Republic of Bulgaria and its attempts to fully enter the borderless control zone of the internal borders of the European Union (EU) - the Schengen area, as well as its stronger commitment to the Euro-Atlantic integration. Important aspects of these strategic tasks for Bulgaria are the protection of the territorial integrity of the country, the fight against criminal contingents from organized crime, the prevention of the ever-increasing migrant pressure on its borders, as well as the prevention of the corruption factor in the listed `operations`.

The report examines the growing role of cyberspace as a fifth domain of military action and political confrontation. An overview of the main definitions of the concept of „cyberspace“ based on normative and strategic documents was made. Its hierarchical levels are distinguished. The main threats in cyberspace and their resonance in security and defense are laid out. Синтез на предварителен съгласуван филтър за борба с пасивни смущения

In the report, a variant for the synthesis of a mathematical model of a matched filter for compensation of passive interference is proposed, which allows to apply the classical method of compensation by during a period subtraction and enhancement of the signal-to-noise ratio. At the beginning of the publication, the topicality of the topic is proven and the initial and restrictive conditions for conducting the research are described. To achieve the goal, special attention has been paid to the advantages of superconducting signals, and more precisely to the throughput and the signal-to-noise ratio. The study was performed by simulation modeling of a real signal reflected from the target, with the initial conditions and the choice of probing ultra-broadband signal set. The essence of the proposal consists in the application of a coherent filter built on nonlinear transmission circuits and its integration at the input of the receiving device. Thus, the SF plays the role of a pre-filter aligned with the duration of the probing ultra-wideband signal. At the output, a signal is formed with clearly expressed maxima of the correlation function and with insignificant noise samples. The results show that the idea laid down in the research is applicable and provides: an increase in the signal-to-noise ratio by up to 5-6 dB; in the subsequent processing, the classical methodology for compensating passive disturbances is applicable.
