Strategic thinking unleashes the power of leaders on all levels to reach goals, overcome challenges and creatively change the situation from where it is to the desired end-state. Communication is a complex process aiming besides the transfer of information, to the creation of meaning and understanding. Meaning and understanding will never be truly attained and developed without feedback. Feedback, be it positive or negative, is the element that completes communication. In this paper we shall try to discuss upward negative feedback and what it entails, what happens when it exists and is used within an organization, and what the consequences are when it is absent or disregarded. Upward negative feedback is the most delicate type of feedback since it is provided by subordinates to superiors. Upward feedback is valuable and necessary in the decision-making and problem-solving processes, unfortunately, information is frequently distorted due to the intricate manner it reaches top levels, especially in the organizational cultures which are very hierarchical and centralized and the impact alters...

Currently, soil pollution is a critical environmental problem that concerned all humanity due to its impact on ecological environment and human health. In order to remediate the contaminated soils, some technologies, generally based on physical, chemical, thermal, and biological processes, have long been in use. However, effectiveness of these methods depends considerably on soil type and characteristics, level of pollution and mixed contaminants present in soil. Therefore, in the present study, the pedological properties of the soil collected from abandoned mining perimeter of “Larga de Sus” from Zlatna (Alba County, Romania)were investigated in order to choose the most appropriate method for soil remediation and establish the parameters of soil remediation technology. The results indicated that soil in the area is highly acidic which favors the mobility of heavy metals in soil and other environmental components. On the other hand, most of the samples are partially structured and poorly structured while some samples are well structured, very poorly structured, or present a lack of aggregates structure. Also, the coarse sandy and loam-sandy texture of the samples was identified. Thus, considering soil properties, soil washing technology may be the appropriate remediation technology for contaminated soil in the studied area considering costs and efficiency

Through this paper we want to show the ways in which we can exploit the CAD data model in the GIS environment. Knowing that in the GIS environment we also work with vector graphics in addition to raster graphics, it is visible the resemblance to computer-aided design (CAD), the editing aspects of digital geometry being similar. On the other hand, it is known that these formats that contain vector graphics and are accepted as a global exchange standard (DXF, DWG - promoted by AutoCAD / Autodesk) or (DGN -promoted by MicroStation / Bentley) can be an important primary source for processes and modelling highlighted on GIS platforms. The basic idea of the paper is created on the CAD model’s residence in the native environment on the one hand, but also its relocation in the GIS environment, demonstrating portability through import-export operations
