A bibliometric approachis used in this study for the assessment of greenhouse gas (GHG) research trends on a global scale. The relevant literature published from 20005 to 2020 in journals of all subject categories of the Science Citation Index Expanded from the Web of Science Core Collection databases has been used. The strings ‘greenhouse gas’ or ‘green house gas*’ wereused for retrieving data. The information of GHG research-related literature is analysed, including the types and languages of literature, characteristics of articles published, source countries/territories of articles, frequency/number of words in the title of articles and the frequency/number of keywords used. Over the past 15 years, an obvious growth trend is seen in the number of published articles, and countries/territories involved in the study of GHG. The number of the world articles published by the seven most developed industrialized countries (G7) is very highin the field of GHG research. The G7 countries have played a predominant role in GHG research in the last 15 years. Analysis of the title words, author keywords and keywords plus showed that ‘greenhouse gas emission’ and ‘climate change’ were the keywords with highest frequency during the whole research period. Carbon sequestration and biotechnologyhave been widely used in reducing the environmental pressure of the greenhouse effect and the dependence on fossil energy.

In the current context of promoting a more positive attitude towards the environment of people, green entrepreneurship, or eco-entrepreneurship is the modern way to move from the old patterns of economic activity to the new gates that are open for business, both nationally and internationally. Given the current needs developed at European level to increase air quality, to combat pollution (both water and soil), economic operators are the mainstay of changing current contexts and replacing them with modern ones. In this sense, it is necessary to expose the intensity of the approach in the literature of research topics that include aspects related to the entrepreneurship of the future, green entrepreneurship, based on an environmentally friendly activity. Quantitative analysis or bibliometric analysis best reveals the interest given to a field of research, both nationally and internationally.

The importance of natural protected areas lies in the desire to increase the sustainability of the human activity. Areas of this type help maintaining an ecological process in the optimal parameters, as they are in natural or semi-natural conditions, thus leading to the harmonious development of the socio-economical spectrum. The essence of a profiled study is valence and in the spere of mentality change, wishing to diminish the approach of the ”conservatory” type, which sees as a unique value of the natural protected areas the preserving of the existence of various species from the flora and fauna world across the globe. The landscape and cultural inscriptions of these spaces, where human intervention is existent or very less present does not have to be neglected. Constant monitoring of the applied research on the global number of informational materials, creates the interest of the passionate people, thus leading to the beginning of the bibliometric analysis, which can bring support to some decisions in the domain, informed decisions. This new method of analysis aims to improve both the management of protected natural areas and the enhancement of research in areas related to the protection of the environment. The present bibliometric analysis is carried out with the support of the Scopus database, the processing of the information takes place with the specialized software VOSviewer in the desire to find out the most discussed topics related to the chosen theme. This paper provides information on the spheres of information interest, from the protected natural areas, debated at international level.

The water footprint concept was introduced in 2002 by Arjen Y. Hoekstra to have an indicator of water consumption. The importance of water footprint research is given by the growing pressure on the freshwater resources of the Earth, pressure due to increased consumption and increased pollution. Knowing the footprint of end consumers, retailers, the food industry, and water-consuming retailers can make them change agents in promoting safe water use. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the water footprint of the population of the South-Muntenia region. To achieve this, the online footprint calculator for Water Footprint Network and the online form created and made available by Google Forms have been used.

Through the ages, libraries have not only accumulated and preserved but also shaped, inspired, and developed knowledge. The first edition of the first universal bibliography, called „Bibliotheca universalis” signed by the Swiss scholar Conrad Gesner, describes about twelve thousand works by some three thousand authors. It is arranged by first names (with an excellent index of family and adopted names), giving biographies, incipits of texts, details of editions, critical notes on contents, on manuscripts, projected and unfinished works, etc., its only restriction being that everything not in Greek, Latin or Hebrew is excluded. It was a truly epochal achievement, on which all subsequent bibliographers have to some extent relied, directly or indirectly.
