Підготовка фахівців інформаційного профілю: соціокультурний аспект
The purpose of the article is to identify socio-cultural factors of the transformation of the library profession and to prepare modern staff of the information profile, which will further transform the system of information and library communications into a strategically oriented integrity, which will ensure the effectiveness of social information and information and communication processes in ensuring the life of Ukrainian society. The methodology of the research is based on the principle of objectivity, information and complex approaches and methods of comparative analysis and generalization. Scientific novelty. The sources available in the scientific research are generalized to determine the place of professional information profiles in the field of informatization of all branches of social activity and the definition of new competencies in their formation. Conclusions The training of personnel for information and library systems in the sociocultural context requires the development of competences that are adequate to the modern requirements of the labor market, since their implementation in the future professional activities of social-pedagogical, socialorganizational, cultural-cultural, cultural-preserving functions, promotion of personality development, satisfaction of its spiritual, cultural, information needs is an important public task.
