Právněhistorické aspekty solní smlouvy
The article deals with the origin, structure and content of the concordat agreement concluded between the Holy See and the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1630, often referred to as the Salt Treaty. Attempts to question the validity of the concordat agreement are observed and illustrated with an anonymous Latin text from the mid-17th century. Particular attention is paid to the repeated violations of the concordat agreement during the 18th century, in which the authority of the Kingdom tried to deprive the Holy See of the right to distribute funds from the salt treasury. This process was concluded by its fusion with the Kingdom’s religious fund during the reign of Emperor Joseph II.
