It is important to carry out valuable scientific studies in academic life as well as to reach a wide audience. Our journal has achieved great progress in both national and international academic publication. Today, almost all scientific knowledge can be reached through online access. The researchs in the field of religious studies in Turkey deserves to reach all the world beyond the boundaries of the libraries. Cumhuriyet Theology Journal has gained a very rapid acceleration in the last five years by meeting the international publication criteria with its format and publication principles and has managed to attract the attention of the scientific world. The Isnad Citation Style developed within our journal and workshops conducted under the leadership of our journal are examples of the Theology Field Journals. We are pleased to announce two important news in this issue. The first is that the 2nd Edition of the Isnad Citation System is available to you, and the second is the addition of the Arabic language option to our journal. In 23rd volume 2nd issue two Arabic articles were published for the first time.

The course of life covering three basic phases - youth-adulthood-old age - is clearly complicated in a post modern society, especially during the transition from youth to adulthood. The process of becoming an adult is getting alarmingly prolonged. Young people reach full adulthood later and later in life, which includes economic independence through a permanent job, social independence in the sense of independent living and running a household, and starting a family. The texts contained in this volume present the results of sociological research on this complex phenomenon, which is the product of the impact of global processes, the structural conditionings behind the functioning of young people, and their individual choices.
