Tolygus ir įtemptas pedagogikos mokslo virsmas edukologijos linkui nebuvo jau toks paprastas. Jį lėmė daugelis aplinkybių – socialinių, politinių, kultūrinių, anaiptol ne vien tik mokslų integracijos ir tarpusavio ryšių bei sąveikos plėtojimo. XX a. pabaigos – XXI a. pradžios laikotarpy sustiprėjo ganėtinai pozityvūs siekiai – demokratinės laisvosios rinkos visuomenės, gerovės visuomenės, užtikrinančios žmogaus lygias sąlygas siekti išsilavinimo ir profesinio brandumo bei gerų kompetencijų, gerbti ir saugoti kiekvieno asmens individualybę ir gebėjimą atsakingai veikti pačiuose įvairiausiuose valstybės, bendruomenės gyvenimo ir privataus sektoriaus segmentuose.

The article focuses on the contribution of Transylvanian scholar Iosif Vulcan (1841–1907), to the devel opment of the Romanian culture. On the one hand, he himself was a poet, playwright and journalist; on the other hand, he was the founder and editor of the Familia (Family) Review – which published works of already established and newly emerg ing Romanian 19th century writers (such as: the now national poet Mihai Eminescu, Timotei Cpariu, George Barițiu, Vasile Alecsandri, Andrei Mureșianu, Ion Heliade Rădulescu, Dimitrie Bolintineanu, Costache Negri, Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu, Matilda Poni, Carmen Sylva etc.) or personalities from various other fields: schoolmasters (Aron Pumnul), medicine (Victor Babeș), diplomacy (Simeon Bărnuțiu, Mihail Kogălniceanu, Ion Brătianu), artists (Ciprian Porumbescu). The Review’s aim to educate its readers was attained by also constantly referring to a variety of leading foreign artists (Alexander Pușkin, Camoens, Sarah Bernhardt etc.). Iosif Vulcan is also remembered for his participation in the Revolution of 1848, which shook the Habsburg Empire.

In the past few decades, a considerable attention was given to the parallel robots and most of the scientific papers refer in the introduction that they were initially proposed to deal with the drawbacks of serial ones. These types of robots are stiffer, faster and more accurate and they have numerous applications in many fields. The first hexapod was built in 1950 by E. Gough that many, paradoxically, refer to as the Stewart platform. Klaus Cappel also designed independently the same hexapod, licensed and built most motion simulators prior to early 1980, but no one even knew about him. This paper presents a short description of the importance of parallel robots in the industry field and the history of their development which illustrates the huge gap that exists between industry and academia and gives a few examples of some type of parallel robots that revolutionized industry.

This review highlights the most notable ideas in the monography entitled Constantin Pârvulescu. Erou și cercetător al cerului (1890–1945) (Constantin Pârvulescu. Aviation hero and astronomer: 1890–1945), elaborated by the Romanian researcher Magda Stavinschi and published in 2015 by Grafoanaytis Publish ing House, Ploiești. The book shows that astronomer Constantin Pârvulescu lived a short but eventful life: as an air observer he contributed to his country’s defense during World War I, which brought him a series of war medals; as a teacher he influenced the lives of many pre university and university students in Romania and abroad, as a researcher he was esteemed and honoured by fellow colleagues all over the world. Thus, it seems only natural that in 1936 a minor planet was named 2331 Parvulesco, to honor both him and his offspring, astronomer Carina Parvulescu and mathematical physicist and acoustician Antares Parvulescu.

The central conclusion of the book is that the Iron Guard Movement was a complex political phenomenon, strongly connected to the far right ideology but not limited to it.
